Angola
The photographs of Angola were taken between 1998 – 2001 during the last few years of the civil war. They were taken across the whole country as part of a wider photographic project to photograph parts of Angola that had not been seen for over 30 years due to the civil war. The work was financially and logistically supported by Sonangol, Save the Children Fund, the United Nations World Food Programme, and the Halo Trust.
All images were taken on medium format black and white ILFORD film (100, 400 and 3200). The exhibition Picture Angola 2000 was materially sponsored by ILFORD.
St George’s Chapel, A Portrait
The photographs of St George’s Chapel were taken between 2005 -2007 as part of a study of St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle. Unprecedented access was given to Eleanor to photograph the daily life behind the scenes at St George’s. The work coincided with HM The Queen’s 80th birthday celebrations at Windsor, and the publication of the book was timed to celebrate the 660th Anniversary of St George’s Chapel and the founding of the Knights of the Garter in 1348.
All images were taken on 35mm black and white film (400 and 3200) using two Leica cameras.

Still Moments
These photographs were taken during 2008 and 2009 around the local countryside in South Cambridgeshire. They are part of a larger work of long-exposure photography.
